Event Hosted By Celine Link To Event Start slideshow Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park Written By Celine 12/16/2007 click for full size Megan, Michelle, Mario, Patrick, a new Patrick and Tom joined me for an afternoon around Hyde Park. Firstly, a warm welcome to Mario and Patrick at their first MeetIn event. I was wearing a red beret to be easily identifiable amongst the crowd and it certainly did the trick! We started by walking along the rides - the ice rink, the observation wheel, the Tacky Haunted Dungeon, the carrousel and many others - before hitting the Christmas market itself. We had some apple juice, took some pictures, left Hyde Park and ordered a drink and some warmth in a typical London cafe aka Starbuck. As we got to know each other, we spoke about the places we had been living in as well as our future travel plans. Did you know Megan's cat has an Italian passport with her name, picture and DoB? At the end of the afternoon, we went our way. Megan, Mario and I went back to the Christmas market, Megan for a long-awaited German sausage and me to have a last look at the shops!
