Event Hosted By Silvia Rebecca Link To Event Start slideshow Chocolate Feast Written By Silvia 02/10/2007 click for full size Wow, what a chocolate afternoon! We had been looking forward to this event ever since the idea was born and it really was as good as expected! We had wonderful cakes, pies, slices, blocks, etc, etc so of course in no time 12 people had seriously overdosed on chocolate! Rebecca and I had been planning on keeping all the leftovers to ourselves (hence the willingness to host the party at our place!) but the thought of being locked in a flat with a year’s supply of chocolate desserts forced me to impose a strict "nobody is leaving without a doggy bag" rule! :-) Then, after an afternoon full of eating a few of us did the obvious - go for dinner (strangely enough, nobody ordered desserts though)! :-) Thanks everyone for coming along, I think I enjoyed the nice company almost (ok, only almost! ;-)) more than all the chocolate! I guess we all need a bit of a chocolate recovery period but after that I suggest Chocolate Feast II, featuring Annamari’s Chocolate Fountain!!! More Photos

Duygu	With.. .. three spots on my right cheek, I'm still happy that I joined last saturday's chocolate feast but I'm not so sure that I want the next one earlier than 2008! (don't mind me, I'm sure I'll want)It's good to know that I have gifted friends in baking (hmm it might be good for future :)) Anyway, thanks Silvia and Rebecca for organising and offering their cosy place.

Franck	Choc Feast II Good to see that the feast was a success! Will there be a non-chocolate option for the Feast II? Or maybe I can make (yes, you read that correctly!) nutella crepes!
Carmel	Sweet!!! Well, I was going to come bearing a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter cups to either the Live Music event or the February Mixer, but if you all haven't come out of your chocolate coma by then, perhaps I'll keep them to myself :)
Terry	I need rehab from chocolate overdose I think the pic of Alexandra and Celine says it all! We were all so perky and ready to dig in at the beginning, but then quietly nursing a chocolate hangover in Silvia and Rebecca's flat a couple of hours later. Thanks ladies and gentleman for a decadent afternoon. It will be a little while before I indulge again!
