About Me
I'm a jack of all trades. After having worked in customer service for an airline, I did advocacy for handicapped children, worked in development and script consulting for independent production companies, and most recently was Operations Director for a school and clinic. Now I work from home doing their H.R, recruiting teachers and therapists. In my spare time I serve on the Board of Directors of several non-profits devoted to disabled children and adults. This keeps me busy traveling across the state. I’ve been a single mom for many years, have 3 fantastic children who are grown, living on their own, and who give me feelings of deepest pride and joy. |
Why I joined
For the last 8 years work and commuting was my life. Now that I am working from my home office I notice some drawbacks. One of which is the absence of interacting with diverse personalities on a daily basis. Joining a group like this has filled in the important social gap. |
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event )
Most recently I attended Abby's Progressive Mystery Dinner. Organizing such an event had to be a logistic nightmare. And yet, it went smoothly and was truly enjoyable. I met a great group of people, all of them with unique personalities and tastes. I believe this experience exemplifies what your organization is all about.

Cecilia - Thanks for the tasty night! It was fun having a little driving adventure around MP and Alhambra, going to El Tepeyac and Fosseleman's. Foot massages for another day! :) The conversation was great too!

I really enjoy dining with Cecilia because she truly enjoys the whole gastronomic experience, whether it's fine dining at La Cachette or ethnic dining at Honey Pig, a Korean BBQ restaurant. She's a fun-loving person who's equally fun to talk to and I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know her better.
