Event Hosted By Michelle Start slideshow Scavenger Hunt Written By Michelle 06/27/2005 click for full size What an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon/evening! It all started out in Griffith Park w/ Hilary's perfectly planned picnic. Then, at precisely 4:30 pm, the scavenger hunt adventures began! We broke up into three teams lead by the fearless captains: Melody, Hilary, and Badger. Then through a random draw (names in a hat) the 15 of us divided up into teams. Melody, Nancy, Richard, Layla, and Miguelito were on Team Super Sexy. Hilary, Tim, Reena, Vivek, and I were on Team Wicked Friggin’ Awesome. While Badger, David, Sam, Hero, and Manny 2 were on Team Magnificently Masculine. (OK …so it’s possible that I just made those team names up right now.) We goofed around, bugged perfect strangers, played in the park, and used our creativity to complete all (or most) of the items on the list. After the hunt was over, we rendezvoused at Melody’s pad to view each team’s final products. The laughter that ensued arose our appetites. So theeeeeen we went out for sushi in Pasadena. Before dinner started we had the much anticipated awards ceremony. At this time everyone was presented with an individualized award for participating in the hunt. The awards were as follows: Melody – BEST CROSS-GENDER URINATOR Nancy - BEST FACIAL TATTOO Manny 2- BEST CREATIVE INTERPRETOR (of the clues) Richard – MOST FAMOUS (Meetin) MEMBER Layla – BEST BALL HANDLING SKILLS Miguelito – BIGGEST REBEL Hilary- BEST THREE-WAY SMOOCH Tim- BEST FREELOADER (for his success in acquiring napkins from the booth for freeeeeee) Reena, - BEST BITCHSLAP VICTIM Badger – BEST STORY TELLER David – BEST HUSTLER (both for his enthusiasm and his dashing good looks) Sam- DANCING KING (for their team’s fantastic dance party footage) Hero – BEST LOOKING GIGOLO Vivek – SEXIEST COAUTHOR EVER Just when you thought the fun was ending, after dinner Reena dared me to eat a large quantity of wasabi wrapped in ginger. So, against Layla’s better judgment, I downed the wasabi and chased it w/ a bowl full of white rice. Man…I’ll do almost anything for a free meal and a little glory. I was definitely hurtin’ later that night. (To answer Sam’s quandary: nope, nothin’ out of the ordinary on the other end.) A big thank you to Vivek for coauthoring the scavenger hunt clues.
