We'll focus on various aspects ranging from architectural to cultural, historical to quirky and/or a combination of any of the above and by doing that, you will certainly see the many wonderful facets of our urban jungle and hopefully gain a better appreciation of the city you live in. So put on that explorer's hat and let's go! For over twenty years, the Los Angeles Conservancy has been sharing Los Angeles' unique architectural treasures with the public through its Downtown Walking Tour program. Today, we'll be taking a private docent-led 2-1/2 hour walking tour of the beautiful Victorian homes in the neighborhood of Angelino Heights. Step back in time to the turn of the century as you stroll down Carroll Avenue in Angelino Heights. One of Los Angeles' first suburbs, the area is rich with history and Victorian architecture. This tour also features the interiors of two private homes. It'll truly be a morning spent getting to know more about Los Angeles than you've ever known before. A day exploring and experiencing Historic LA is truly a great way to spend a Saturday, so please come out and join us! If you'd like to join me for lunch after the tour at Mexico City, click here! _______________________________________ Upcoming "Urban Explorers" Events 06/17 - "Urban Explorers" Dearly Departed Tour 08/12 - "Urban Explorers" MONA Neon Bus Tour |
