    About Me
A very active and creative guy with a passion for theatre, art, food and beverage. Living in The Woodlands now, but looking to move into the city in one of these days. I love to travel and try new things and places: bars, theatres, restaurants, and have even gotten kind of hooked on the rodeo : ) I try to walk, lift, or do some pilates/yoga 2-3 times a week. Amanda and I are training for our 2nd Half Marathon in Houston together - Jan. 15, 2008. Wanna know more? Check out my more serious side at LinkedIn View Jason J. Alexander's profile on LinkedIn
    Why I joined
My friend Grant in Chicago (PMA brother & fellow NU Alum) thought I might enjoy as he has had a lot of success with the Chicago chapter.
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event )
    1) Gotta say New Year's 2006 at Scott & Elena's. Amanda had been hiding from me up until this point so it wasn't until then that I got to meet her and her theatre-loving, pre-CA living self there. : ) Watch out MiH. Also, almost got set on fire by either Russ or Eric and have a generally wonderful time until I collapsed from a combination of exhaustion and perhaps those martinis I made myself, the champagne, and oh . . .some of the beer that made its way into my cooler. 2) Our impromptu event for Huy from Boise was fun over at Papasitos and Velvet Melvin. 3) Any event that involved The Davenport. MiH or otherwise. Thank you MiH!!!!!!

jason is hilariously fun to be around. watch out for him with pitchers though as he is quick to pour it down and be ready for more (even the smurf drinks). i had a great time joking around with him at a recent event and am looking forward to more!

Jason is a cool guy. I met him at a game night event. He has a lot of energy and is non-stop when it comes to making drinks (I would say excellent drinks) and having a great time.

Jason is Mr. Trivia if I say so myself (750ml is the exact amount in a bottle of liquor :) I will remember that the rest of my life...Great drink maker! FUN...FUN...FUN!

Jason is the best!! he was the first person I met when i moved here from california, which made things alot easier and way more exciting. He is a great sushi and horror movie companion, And he keeps everyone entertained with his alcoholic pants endeavors. He is the life of the party and a great friend.

Jason helped to make my first MiH event a lot of fun! He is one of the most welcoming people I've had the pleasure of meeting here in Houston. Thanks, Jason!

It was great meeting you during MIEB's debauchary on St.Patrick's Day and the dinner the following Monday at Tomatina in WC. I found out you can definatly hold your own and fit in well with the MIEB crowd when it comes to drinking and conversation. Enjoyed the Irish Car Bomb, even though it was at Chili's and the 3 (or was it 4) shots of tequila to end the night at Mr. Lucky's. Hope to see you again at another MIEB event the next time you decide to visit the East Bay!

YEAH!! Thanks for coming and playing with us in MiEB!! You are a chair of bowlies and a lot more!! You simply must come back out to play with us again and this time we will take you out on a less packed night :} You were game for pretty much everything MiEB had to dish at ya... which makes ya good in my book! Again come back and play again!!! REALLY SOON!!!

A testimonial for Jason is overdue. He’s a great guy who can keep the spirits alive and rocking on any occasion. And when a little extra is needed to liven up the night, he can fix you a drink or two and he makes them pretty darn good. Party on Dude.

Jason is an all-around great guy, a great conversationalist (he can talk about ANYthing) and I am highly amused at his ability to break out into song, mid-sentence. I'm glad that he is a part of Meetin and a part of all our lives.

Jason is very friendly and laid-back guy, and if I may insist, embodies the spirit of meetin. (well, you haven't harmed any innocent goats, have you?). If you seek witty banter and intelligent convo, Jason's the man.

    <-( Grant says ;-)
I've known Jason since our freshman year at Northwestern, which would make it 11 years now. He was also one of the groomsmen in my wedding. One of the greatest guys I've ever had the fortune of knowing in my life. A man of many talents from cooking to bartending to theater. He's a gracious host as well. I have fond memories of the dinner parties my (almost ex-)wife and I would have with him back when he was living in Chicago.

    <-( Bronwen says ;-)
Ok, first off, I have no idea who that man in the tie is, to the left. I've never seen that kid in my life. The Jason I've met has never been perched on a chair like that. Upright mobility aside, however, this guy is ridiculous in all the goods ways it pays to be ridiculous. He's cracking people up one minute, engaged in a serious discussion about theatre the next. Jay is seriously funny, incredibly friendly, has knowledge of Scotch and the proper way to hold chopsticks and -- *drumroll* -- is ubersexual - ask him what that means. He'll tell you with pride while making crepes and singing karaoke.
