Bronwen and I arrived at our destination, only to find it was CLOSED! EEK! [That's what I get for rescheduling and not re-calling!] I sent out text messages to those folks I had in my phone, and Bronwen wrote out directions on how to get to our backup location: Los 3 Amigos! We pulled out of the parking lot, when in my side mirror I realized a car had pulled up in front of Ixtapa. We quickly did a U-Turn and found Alex. Follow us! We arrived at L3A where Jason and Amanda were already munching on some chips and salsa. Soon after, Eduardo joined us (Welcome to MiH, Eduardo!). Bronwen's directions got our newest member to the rendezvous point with no problem (thanks B!). We all ordered some tasty dishes and chatted about Hurricane Dean, moving, home ownership, small spaces, Bronwen's couch, torturing David with text messages and MiH events: past and future. Once we began to finish up, Pilar arrived! Amanda and Jason had to continue their progressive dinner, so they left while the rest of us watched Pilar eat. hehe Eduardo and Bronwen competed for the camera-nazi title, Pilar introduced Bronwen to flan, Alex exuded so much hotness that she had the eye of a certain non-MiH gentleman, and I was happy I didn't spill anything on myself. Overall, a great outing! Thanks to everyone who came out, and to Amanda for loaning me The Kite Runner -- I'm looking forward to reading it! More Photos
