Event Hosted By Chris Link To Event Start slideshow Tempo Valley @ Jazz Minds 6/30 Written By Chris 07/01/2007 click for full size It was a saturday evening at Jazz Minds Art & Cafe. This is a small, somewhat dark jazz club with an interesting atmostphere in the Ala Moana area. When I arrived around 9:30 it was fairly empty, but it really filled up by 11pm when the band started playing. The band who plays on Saturday is "Tempo Valley", a word play on Temple Valley which is located on the windward side of O'ahu. Tempo Valley is a 7 person band with a lead singer, m.c., drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, & cellist. They have a really unique sound, great for grooving to at night. We only had about 4 people show up out of 10 who said yes. YOU GUYS MISSED IT, OH WELL... Their next show is July 5, 10pm. They're playing at the Hawaiian Hut, either at or after the Poetry Slam. Chris	-_-;; ooh, that sucks David... Getting your car towed is a pain in the ass. When I go to this place I normally park at Ala Moana near Macy's and walk over.
David	A-some The band was awesome playing some good beats. Definitely love to see them again. Ended up being a expensive night though..... Got back to where I parked my car...and my car was towed away. Apparenty the metered parking on the side of a street was a private road. Who would've thunk....
