I had such a great time Friday night and from my downloaded photos, I think that quite a few more folks enjoyed themselves as well. We were quite the crowd of 18 and moved from the crowded front bar to the back round stage/ lounge area around 10pm. One of the funniest quotes came from Diana when table service stopped and the bar became self service: "Is this like McDonald's when they switch from breakfast to lunch?" A bit later, when I was trying to figure out who the mystery woman on the way was, Takeshi recommended that I text her again and tell her: "There are 5 delicious men here ready to serve." The mystery woman turned out to be Audrey. I forgot to mention this to her... ;-) Chatting with Tom and Tim about them not getting up and dancing with us, I mentioned a little story to Tim regarding the last time we went out. (I won't go into details here.) But Tim's response was: "If you hadn't been drinking cola all night, you wouldn't have remembered that." Well...someone's gotta remember all the fun, right? :-) Most of the group lasted until 1:30, at which time Takeshi formed the front of a human train and navigated us through the pulsating crowds of people. If everyone's in agreement, next time I'll reserve the back area straight away. It was like our own private VIP spot until 12:30 when the place just became so incredibly crowded that a couple folks tucked into our midst. No problemo though...they were pretty cool.
