Thanks Laura for hosting - we all had a blast! So sorry for the people who couldn't make it because it was sold out! So bummed that this is the last film of the season - I'm going to miss these!

That was the first time I'd seen it all the way through. I must have seen parts of it on tv, but always changed the channel.
Now it's considered pretty much a comedy, especially if you're listening to the dialog as if all the navy pilots are gay, and that makes it really funny. It really is a chick-flick now, but it was probably a huge boost for the peacetime navy then.
