About Beer Snobs Club
As someone once said about something else, beer takes "a minute to learn, a lifetime to master." Part of what makes beer so appealing is that it's both primal and complex: add three basic ingredients to water and you get, well, so much more than you put in. (Plus, it tastes good!)
This isn't a group for experts only (I'm still learning myself!) but for people eager expand their horizons and share their knowledge about the oldest and most popular alcoholic beverage. Why might a light-colored beer taste more bitter than a dark one? Where can you find cask-conditioned ale in the D.C. area? How do those Belgian folks make a lambic? How do I get started in homebrewing?
If you have ideas for events, expertise to share, or just enthusiasm, post to the board or send me a message!
