Dana and I met when we shared a cab after a late night pizza run in Philly. I knew immediately that he was a total sweetheart. He has a very warm and friendly demeanor that makes you feel as if you’ve been friends for years. I suspect that he has a bit of a wild side too...maybe I will get to see that on a future adventure. ;-) Thanks for the company, Dana!  <-( Stefanie says ;-)
How have I not said anything about the amzingness that is Dana, yet? Better late than never. He is one of my favorite people. Friendly, outgoing, kind, super intelligent and he misses NOTHING (and is continously surprising me with random questions about my hometown). He's a great listener, a fun person to be with and he has great taste in shirts. Also, his asparagus soup is not to be missed. There's no one I'd rather celebrate my birthday with than Dana!  <-( Jason_foodgeek says ;-)
Dana is a great guy, and I can't beleive I haven't written him a testimonial previously. He is smart, friendly, laidback, easy going, and easy to talk to. Make a point of talking to him when you next see him at an event.  <-( Aurore says ;-)
It's very difficult for me to imagine Meetin without Dana. Soon after I joined MeetinDC I was busy at work and did not go to many events. I used however to look at the website and kept seeing Dana everywhere on the website. It was like he attended all events. So when I finally saw him for the first time, I was very happy ... to meet him but also to see that, in spite of being one of the icons of MeetinDC, he was very cool, nice, laidback, very calm and knowledgeable. But don't be fooled, Dana is also a crazy party guy sometimes ! And I concur with everyone: Dana is the best event planner for Scavenger Hunts ! Dana: it was an honor to have you at our Convention in Paris. You'll be always welcome in Paris and in Vincennes (ie at my place). Take care.  <-( Silvia says ;-)
I'm very glad I met Dana because he is one of those people that make we want to visit DC soon to catch up with him and the rest of the Meetin crowd! I really enjoyed spending time with Dana, be it chatting, partying or drinking at the Sacre Coeur at an unearthly hour! I might not trust him completely if we ever had to catch a flight together, but hey, nobody is perfect! ;-) Dana, looking forward to seeing you again soon! Maybe you can organise a scavenger hunt for us?!  <-( Craig says ;-)
Dana is another example of the amazing members in DC. A real sport, he let me bribe him (with 2 beers) into joining our Scavenger Hunt team. Afterwards, I got to learn that his skills and interests go well beyond Scavenger Hunts. Anytime you are back in Paris, you have a place to stay.  <-( Mike says ;-)
Met Dana alot of times on my visits to DC, but they were very brief. I got to spend more time with him on our European trip, and found out what a cool guy he is- laid back, humble, and a blast to hang out with. He wanted to blow the minds of the local Parisians at karaoke, so we sang a John Denver song:-) That was one of the highlites of the trip for me. Dana, hope you come to Philly soon!  <-( Emily says ;-)
I think what I love most about Dana was his willingness to intergrate culturally in France and give the "bisous" everytime we saw eachother during the EuroConvention in Paris :-) It was a pleasure meeting, and getting to know Dana in Paris- not only is he fun to be around, but so easy to chat with. I can only imagine the kind of exictement he brings to MIDC!! See you soon on your side of the ocean!  <-( Megan says ;-)
Paris '06 wouldn't have been the same without Dana. I was fortunate enough to be on the same team for the scavenger hunt...despite the parisien contingent's (moi inclus) failures, the D.C guru saved us. Dana an all-around great person-- fun,engaging, enthusiastic, and from his reported kitchen collection must be a fantastic chef!  <-( CharAnn says ;-)
Dana was already a legend when I joined MEETin. He served as one of the board members. He was know as being an all around nice guy. He was known for planning some of the coolest and some of the largest events of all-time. A few additional things I have learned since joining is that Dana is really smart, he knows a great deal about cooking, and he has a twin: girl dana, lol. And you know what - a year later I have found all these things and more to be true.  <-( Michelle says ;-)
All I have to say is Dana dude is one cool dude. He definitely goes out of his way to talk to you and make you feel wanted! Or maybe he just wants you! Who knows. All I know is I had a great time hanging out with and chatting with you. Hope to do it again!  <-( Brett says ;-)
Dana... What can be said that hasn't about this guy? Other than the fact that he's really an alien from the far reaches of the galaxy, that is? Ha,ha - sorry! Anyway - Dana is definitely one of the best of the best when it comes to MIDC... a great leadership type, friendly to newbies and old-timers alike, and a great scavenger hunt host! There's a select group of people that have stood out for me as I've gotten more into the vibe or the "fold" of MeetIn... and boy/guy-Dana is definitely one of them! Thanks for being so cool... see ya down the road! Sorry - I just couldn't come up with $5,000!! Sorry MallRats!  <-( Darren says ;-)
W. Dana, guy Dana or now knows as WD, is great person. He is really knowledgable about everything. I mean the guy can dress with the best of them, cook a great dish and kick some butt on the athletic stuff. I sometimes don't see how he finds the time to do all the events he does. I have two great memories of Dana, the first was a year ago when he made the famous Dana "jungle juice" for the tubing trip I drank that and was pretty toasty. The second is when the dynamic duo of Dana and myself took on all comers for the wheel barrel race and won gold! Dana is a good friend you realise you should hangout more with.  <-( Michele says ;-)

Dana shares my love of live music and raw oysters (among other delicacies), but more importantly, he is a generous, kind, and considerate friend. He won my loyalty forever with a well-timed spinach empanada :) But don’t let him fool you, he can be plenty mischevious with very little encouragement!  <-( Alin says ;-)
Dana is what MEETin is all about! You will meet many incredible people while you experience MEETin, but few will have the qualities of becoming lifelong friends. Dana definitely makes the cut! Dana hosted my first event. In the first 5 minutes, he made me feel like I'd been a part of the group forever! He's one of the most thoughtful, creative, clever people I have ever been blessed to know! Nick name, MacGyver! (He has every gadget in the book!) Fetish, taking incriminating pics! Best quality, being himself! And ladies.. No, he's not as innocent as he'd like to have you believe! ;)  <-( Eileen says ;-)
Dana is an enigma. He will ride a roller coaster that goes almost completely vertical . . . but carefully ziplocs his things before doing so. The KD trip was a lot of fun, thanks for organizing!  <-( King says ;-)
I can't believe I haven't given this guy a testimonial yet! He is by far one of the coolest guys I've had a chance to met, in Meetin or elsewhere. He's always smiling, chillin', and just about having a good time. Anytime I see him, I know it's bound to be fun.  <-( Hilary says ;-)
