Brandon's a really great guy who easily makes people feel welcome. He's a snappy dresser, and a talented artist / film-maker too. He hosted last year's MeetinDC Olympics, which was one of my first events, and still stands out as a personal favorite. See you around. <-( Kelly says ;-)
God! Those cheeks are too delicious for words... See, hon? You were a Baby Bear from the start! <-( Neighborhood Inspection Chief says ;-)
You Successfully Attended a National Neighborhood Inspection in DC <-( Jack says ;-)
I finally had a chance to hang out with Brandon and really get to know him. He is really genuine and relaxed kind of guy. He blends in with any crowd and is a lot of fun. I owe you a few beers from the Chi Cha incident but I will be back in DC soon so we can take care of that then. Thanks again B and great hanging out with ya! <-( Aurore says ;-)
In Paris, we are very fortunate because our city hosts many museums with master pieces of diverses and famous artists. But there is at least one reason for which we envy Washington: Brandon. I met him just a few times in DC and I was very happy he came to Paris even if the initial purpose of his trip to Europe was Amsterdam. In spite of the little time he spent in Europe, Brandon still became famous. Brandon: I love your panda and your drawing. I wish I were as gifted in arts as you are and I wish we had more time to chat but I'm sure we will soon. <-( Danny says ;-)
The way I see it, two things make you cool: peeing your pants, and writing a testimonial about B. The guy knows how to release the inner geek, and pull it off with class and style. We are cut from the same cloth, and I am sure if we were in the same town, we'd be getting into trouble together - while listening to good tunes - on a regular basis. I look forward to a mischevious reunion. DJFB It was a pleasure to meet Brandon! Very nice, down to earth, interested, caring, mature guy. Great company for Amsterdam canal strolls. An djeez, what an artist! I was stunned with his creativity, for example creating Spikey's passport with such eye for detail & the drawings on your website, amazing!! If you ever have an expostion, please send me an invitation, cause it would be great to see you again one day! <-( Carmel says ;-)
Brandon conceived the blue international sensation on a napkin at a MEETin happy hour just a little over a month ago. That in itself should be indication enough of his creative genius. But, as I discovered during our MEETin EuroTrip, Brandon is much more than a very talented artist. He exudes quiet intellectualism, steady character, and a maturity that eludes many years older than he is. He inspires creativity. It was a privilege to share my first Amsterdam and Paris experience with him. I hope I have the opportunity, and I look forward to it, in getting to know him better. <-( Mike says ;-)
Funny story while hanging out with Brandon during the European trip. I was commenting on how cool those MEETin shirts are, and someone told me Brandon designed them. Latter I started giving out the MEETin cards and of course someone told me that Brandon designed them. And we all know that night of lust that produced spIKEY. I was one of those who were in favor of sending a book around the world. But his idea of spIKEY turned out to be pure genius. Besides his creative side, he was a blast to hang out with in Europe. Yo Brandon hope to hang out with you soon! Brandon, it really was great meeting you! I'm glad I got to see the different sides of you as mentioned in your other testimonials. You're full of positive energy and the right person to party with. But I'm also glad we had our more serious talks, like when you were sitting on the toilet in the tram ;o) Hope to see you again soon! Oh and may I just add you're a very lekker ding :o) <-( spIKEY says ;-)
Hi Daddy thnaks for making sure I was not a book. I hope I make it back alive from the world to see you again. Wish me luck. Find out more about spIKEY Journeys Wow. I have known Brandon for a while now. Lately though I have gotten to know him better. First, I have to say, Brandon is one hell of a cool guy. He's chill, funny, and easy to hang with. I honestly think he is very genuine and I would place him among the best, most down-to-earth guys in MeetIn (that I have met). Glad I got to know you man. I am honored. <-( Kavitha says ;-)
I am long overdue in writing Brandon a testimonial. He is such a great person that it is easy to see why everyone gravitates to him. Being on the local board together has enabled me to see just how creative, brilliant, and objective Brandon is. He is also so mature and laid back that I was striving to be just like him when I grew up... I almost fell over in shock finding out that he was just in his early twenties :-) This guy is awesome! <-( Andrew says ;-)
Really cool and nice lad, this Brandon fellow is. I highly recommend you meet him. <-( Arthur says ;-)
Let all other scavenger hunt teams beware: The Damn Tourists will triumph!!! <-( Kendra says ;-)
Psst! This guy wears long johns to bed in the summer time. You heard it here first. Brandon, what can be said about you? I initially thought you were kind of quiet and a little shy, but I think it was merely the fact that I hadn't seen you in your "zone". Brandon is yet another MiDC'er who is mellow and very laidback with a hidden element of mischievousness as can be witnessed in his "Truth or Dare" challenge. I'm curious to see other aspects of your personality as I get to know you! You better call Tyrone, but you can't use my phone:-) I first met Brandon at the Stella Comedy event at State theater. I have had the opportunity to hang out with him again at Assateague, Centuars fu**ing rule, and at a karaoke event. Thanks for the dance:-) Ladies, he is a wonderful guy so get to know him. Oh, did I mention he is also an artist:-) I can't tell you how much fun it was meeting him here in Japan while he and his sister were here(June, 2005). I got to know him personally and can't believe I didn't get to talk to him and hang out with him alot while I was still in DC. It's a rarity that someone has a serious interest in Japan but being with him for a short time, he is a truly genuine and fun person with diverse interest. I look forward to seeing him out here again or visiting him in DC. <-( Sue says ;-)
Brandon was on my list of people I needed to meet while in DC for Convention '05 and I wasn't disappointed. He's intelligent, articulate and creative. We're lucky to have him around, Kudos Brandon you rock! <-( Candice says ;-)
Being Brandon's little (and obviously shorter) sister, I look up to him in more than one way. I haven't figured out yet if I should love him or hate him for being this amazing person that everyone worships and thinks is perfect - especially when I tend to agree with most of it. Haha, I'm torn between being jealous and being in awe. It's a lot to live up to when you come from the same family as someone who is unmistakably insanely creative, artisitc, thoughtful, mellow, witty and genuine - but I'll settle for being honored that he's my big brother. :) Despite being picked on by him for years (I assume it's somewhere in the sibling contract as a required practice), I'm SO HAPPY that we have been able to become good friends and experience a lot of wonderful things together. Next adventure: Japan! More Testimonials >> |
