Seriously? I have not left a testimonial for Cassy? Unheard of! What is it about Cassy that just draws all of us to her? Personally for me I love her honesty, her uniqueness, and that she will try everything and anything. It seems that she never limits herself to enjoyng life. Cassy is a HUGE part of MiPL and honestly I cannot imagine this group without her. Thanks for all you do, Cassy. Attended BBQ at Cassy's; GREAT house, beautifully organized, wonderful & relaxed party, charming hostess. But the best part was walking into the room for donations; I thought there's be a few token bits here and there. Wrong. A room bursting with stuff - I remember how scary and exciting getting ready for school was. This donation idea is such a gentle, kind, thoughtful gift to kids who need it. Way to go, Cassy and MIPL!  <-( Todd says ;-)
Call her the queen of Mipl, she'll tell you it takes everyone's effort to keep it going. Call her the Mipl goddess but she would rather you didn't. Call her the coolest Mipl'r, she'll insist that all Mipl'rs are cool. She's Cassy, and now you know why, as of 1/29/08, 8125 people have joined this crazy Mipl group. I met Cassy at the Austin Celebration and she made my weekend a richer experience! She's easy to talk to and tons of fun to be around. MiPL is lucky to have her in the group -- she's welcome in Phoenix anytime!  <-( James says ;-)
I was at Cassy's once for a Welcome Wagon meeting. We were sitting out back in the late afternoon, and a raccoon came by. She may have been a nursing mother. Cassy gave her some cat food and water, which she gratefully consumed while watching us warily. The raccoon made me think of all of us that have gathered around Cassy and MiPL, some shyly, some boldly, but all driven by some sort of need. And like the raccoon, thanks to Cassy, our needs have been met.  <-( Janet M says ;-)

Wow! After attending the August fundraiser barbecue, I can see that it makes perfect sense that Cassy is at the heart of this magic that we call MiPL. Cassy is the best hostess: she is friendly, inviting, and she is really great at remembering faces and names. Her determination at making MiPL a success is nothing short of breathtaking. Mad Lib Testimonial #17. Cassy is a very [adjective] person. The first time I met her was when she was hosting her [noun] event, where she immediately made me feel very [adjective]. Right now she is the top MiPL junkie, having gone to [number] events in the last [number] days. The best thing about Cassy is her [noun], and most people would say that she is [adjective], [adjective], and most of all, [adjective]. Cassy freakin' RAWKS! Seriously... she is kind, welcoming, intelligent, personable and she has a good heart. She knows a lot about a great many things, cares deeply for the world and those in it. Cassy is one of those rare people with a quiet intensity (not as in "she was so quiet, I never thought she'd do that" kind of way, but in the wise and worldly without having to talk about it kind of way). It is not hard to get along with Cassy - it may take a little time to truly get to know her, but it is well worth your while... just be sure to treat her with respect, as she is quite deeply deserving of it.  <-( AmyC says ;-)
Well, this is a first for me...writing a testimonial for someone I've never met. Cassie's generosity and incredible attitude compelled me to do it, though. What an incredible asset she is to MiPL! 3 years and one month-ish… Cassy has gone to 778 events, 281 of which she hosted! At 7.5 events a month hosted, she is nothing short of an inspiration. To think of all the support she gives, all the people she welcomes, all the names she learns, all the work done to prepare for events and all the clean up after! I have nothing but the utmost respect for Cassy. An event with her is always a good time. I can’t imagine a better person to experience Burning Man with! <-( Ben says ;-)

My testimonial of Cassy is long over due, I can’t believe I’ve taken so long! Cassy will not only remember your name after meeting you only once, but she’ll undoubtedly have a smile and hug for you too. Her warm and caring nature eases your spirit. Her up beat and friendly nature says, let’s have fun. The little twinkle in her eye says she’s got a story to share, or some mischievous adventure she wants to draw you into. I am lucky to have attended numerous events with Cassy, including some at her house, but to have also gotten to know her outside the group too. Cassy was the very first person I met in MiPL. She greeted me as I entered the June Mingler. She already knew my name and walked right up to me and introduced herself. It didn't take long for me to realize Cassy knew EVERYONE and did pretty much everything. I was in awe of this amazing person. But over the last few months, I have gotten to know a bit more than just MiPL Cassy and I must say, I am honored. Her kindness and warmth are genuine and authentic and instantly draws people to her. Her smile and laugh let you know she really wants to know what you are saying and what you are about. Yes, dear Cassy is not only a great MiPLer and person, she is a great friend. Let's do a word association exercise, say the first thing that comes into your head: "Cassy". I think of, classy, sassy, perhaps brassy. Always sweet, decisive, and energetic enough to drive a huge bunch like us on and still look calm and collected as she does it. If she didn't do what she does, we wouldn't do half the things we do and then wouldn't have all the great stories to tell our families about what we did. Did that make sense? Let me start again; I love Cassy. Yeah, that oughta do it.  <-( Jen says ;-)
I met Cassy for the first time at the Casablanca Party. Unfortunately, she was a little under the weather that night. Not only did she still show up, she was extremely friendly and fun to chat with. Cassy is a wonderful city leader. I met her during a weekend trip to Portland. She was the perfect host. She opened up her home to us and did a welcoming potluck for us. She helped us with books and maps and ideas. Cassy didn't play "tour guide," but we ALWAYS knew that she was a phone call away when we needed help or a ride or got lost so she was always there even when she wasn't there but not too far away when we needed her the most.
