It's not very often that I praise other people. But when one is as deserving as Mike, it's second nature. Very few people in this city, country, world rather have I met that exemplify the word friend. This whole organization preaches good work and the belief that no one is ever alone because strangers are friends you haven't met yet. I met Mike in March and was instantly floored by his openness and generosity. You can't buy this.... I am damn glad to know him and it should be no coincidence that the founder of meetin and the man I'm speaking of have the same name.. But don't let my words sway you, meet him!  <-( John says ;-)
Mike is a great guy. He always makes me feel welcome and he has been super helpful getting me up and running with events. His definition of "cool" might be a little...um...expansive, but I'm really glad to have met Mike.  <-( Colleen says ;-)
As a teacher, I looked up the word leader in the dictionary and there was a picture of you! Thanks you so much for the warm welcome. I enjoyed spending time with you, watching your movie and drinking shots with the Philly gang. I'm confident that we 'burgers can return the favor sooner than later.  <-( Dwayne says ;-)
I can see why Mike is the Leader of your group here! The 2008 Celebration in Philly was a blast thanks to Mike and his crew's planning and organizing. Not only can Mike party like a rockstar but he's a great event host as well! Thanks so much for the job you did with the Philly Celebration and I will be seeing you at the next one I'm sure....with a beer in hand too! :)  <-( Rick says ;-)
Mike. Wow, what more can be said about him, that others haven't already covered? He can swim thru a river of alcohol, like a fish, as if it were oxygen and STILL be coherent. A definite party animal! His enthusiasm, great spirit, and uncomparable energy is outstanding, to say the least. Cannot wait to party with him again. Portland says Philly Mike ROCKS!  <-( Sonia says ;-)
Mike is such great Energy!! Getting the chance to see him in his groove here for the Celebration was awesome!!! I don't think I ever saw him slow down until the last day. The guy exudes so much energy not just at his own events but everywhere-amongst everyone which is no wonder this city Rocks!! I saw Mike work his magic with all the new comers making them feel welcome. Mike thanks so much for being such a great host at events!! I loved being in your city! Your personality speaks volumns!! Wow, the Philly convention was AMAZING! And this guy played a huge part in that. But, not only can he organize a great weekend of events, he's fun and interesting to talk to. Friendly, approachable, and he makes an effort to ensure that everyone is having a good time. Fortunately, I think MEETinPittsburgh just might have him convinced that he needs to bring the Philly crew to Pittsburgh soon, and we'll be back in Philly again, that's for sure.  <-( Cyd says ;-)

Mike and I were hardcore drinking buddies in another life. And now we’ve finally been reunited in this life...only this time I am a woman and I can drink WAY more than him. haha Philly 2008 was a blast – you guys did an amazing job! Philly Mike is the typical example why this organization is so great. He is always with a welcoming smile, making you feel just at ease. I met him way back in 2006 when he visited Portland. This time that I visited Philly during the convention, I could see him in action as a host... superb host. Everybody... make an effort and meet this cool guy.  <-( Roxann says ;-)
I met so many Mikes at the Philly Convention but definitely this Mike will remain in my memory the most. He is such a great and sweet guy, he made me feel at home right away and always took the opportunity to say hi to me and speak to me about very cool Sci-Fi stuff. Thanks Mike for helping me have a great time at the convention and if you're ever in Austin, make sure to let me know so we can hang out!  <-( Sandra says ;-)

I cannot believe that I haven't placed my stamp of approval on Mike, but this is it... with such energy, very interesting sense of humor, always smiling, always providing funny comments, always busy, always involved, just... ALWAYS! Everything Mike does has "ALWAYS" attached to it. Along with many other people, Mike is definitely one of the best people to keep coming back to events for. What can I say about Mike but when him and Sam get together you never know where a conversation is going to go. He is a fun time though, he is one of the most driving forces of the meetin fun. Always gets you involved in the group, making you feel comfortable but uncomfortable at the same time lol. Alison you are a very good sport and a patient person. lol  <-( Eddie says ;-)
