My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event ) My favorite was probably HISTORY HUNT IN DC...which was a charity event for KID POWER IN DC A meetinDC member Enrique an I ran around the entire DC mall with these sheets of paper listing of photos and riddles where we had to find very specific objects and titles (everything from statues, engravings on buildings, number of certain types of carousel animals on the DC merry-go-round, to what flavor Itallion they were serving down underground cafeteria ...and ALL questions were not straight forward questions but things we had to figure out and find the destination using just a riddle and a photograph of something or area on the mall. It was the two of us with two other girls where we split up and communicated on cel phones.It was a blast! More MEETin Stories

mitch hosted a day out on the lawn beneath the Washington Monument. he brought water, kites, frisbees, and other strange things that fly through the air. everyone who passed by, especially little kids, loved seeing his flying toys. he was a good host and very friendly to everyone who stopped to talk to him.

I'm almost ashamed of myself for waiting so long to say...Mitch embodies all of the characteristics that I think a meetin member should be: attentive, friendly, welcoming, and fun. He was such a thoughtful and considerate host to me when I first met him in DC at his kite flying event, making sure that I was accommodated. Mitch instantly made me feel comfortable. Mitch is a welcome addition to any event definately. Mitch I am blessed to be a part of your circle of friends and I am looking forward to more fun and laughs together. I just wish DC wasn't soo far :(

Mitch's Shenandoah weekend was so incredibly top-notch and it was in large part because of his personality and efforts. From the warm and caring welcome to great planning and fabulous cooking, Mitch knows how to throw a party where everyone will have a great time. I look forward to the next one!

October '08 Mitch hosted a mountain weekend/hang-out/ hiking/ gaming/drinking/cooking/eating / photo-taking extravaganza. It was incredibly awesome. He is a great event planner. Looking fwd to his next.

Mitch is a very generous, conscientious person. He always brings great food to potlucks and cookouts, helps with planning, and likes to make sure everyone is having a good time!
