Rob's a cool guy.. except for when he tries to start bar brawls. If he gets that wild look in his eye, RUN! We don't call him Wild Rob for nothin', ya know!  <-( Jason_foodgeek says ;-)
Rob was one of the first people that I met on meetin. When I was new to the group, he was friendly, and made me feel welcome. He was there to say "thank you for hosting" at my first few events. Great guy. He is laidback, and is easy to get along with. And, when playing the game called "Bang!", don't believe him when he says he is the Deputy. Sneaky Rob, very sneaky. :)  <-( Jack says ;-)
Rob is one cool dude. i have met him a few times but had a chance to hang out with him on my most recent trip to DC. Thanks for coming out to NI on U Street and I look forward to coming back out to DC and chillin...  <-( Kendra says ;-)
Rob, you can be my chauffeur any day! With those covert access road maneuvers and the occasional horn honking to wave at fellow MiDC people, riding with you was quite an adventure. I hereby dedicate my 2005 MiDC Olympics Water Balloon Toss silver medal to Rob! Had it not been for him, I would have continued to sit on the sidelines and cheer, but Rob came along with his clipboard and talked me in to signing up for not one, but four events! Rob seems to be rather quiet at first, but once you start talking, he gets going as well. Warning! Warning! He may be adorable and charming, but don't let that fool you. When playing board games, he's out to win and will not let friendship stand in the way! ;-)  <-( Denise says ;-)
Ahh Rob. The man of the Blue Sweater that I've Never Seen. One of the first MEETin peeps to chat with me beyond the "hey, how long you been a member?" stage, he's always there with a smile, ready to chat or answer one of my million questions. He's a definite go-to guy for MEETinDC, and anything he hosts is sure to be alot of fun. Denise thinks he's groovy :) <-( A-L-I-S-O-N says ;-)

Rob is the Indispensible Party Item: as much as beer and music, every successful party event needs Rob! I met Rob at an Event Planning Event and marveled at his vast knowledge of MiDC as he answered waves of event questions. Then I watched him unleash his wild and wicked wit at one of Alison's Game Nights and it dawned on me that his organizational expertise and fun-inducing, friendly humor are two of the essential ingredients that cook up the greatest and most memorable events. Getting a chance to hang out with smart, friendly, and fun people like Rob is what makes MiDC so fantastic!  <-( John says ;-)
Rob is a really cool guy, and one of the best event planners in MeetInDC. He's been very dedicated to this group by serving on the board, welcoming new members, and putting together some great events. I really appreciate all the work he has done, and all of the great times we've had so far.  <-( Shana says ;-)
Expert juggler huh? Well, I dont know about that. But... he is one really fun guy that is one heck of a volleyball player! Fun and good times definately follow him around :). <-( A-L-I-S-O-N says ;-)

You know those parties when you come home with stuff you don't remember getting? The April HH at Crush was sorta like that, to a certain degree. I downloaded my pics from the event, and lo and behold, there's this goofy one of me I don't remember taking. Fortunately, at the next HH (hmmm...is there a pattern here?), Rob was kind enough to admit responsibility. In that subtle, suave way of his. Rob’s one of those people you have to meet at events; he may strike you as quiet but he’s got a sharp wit. Rob makes me feel at home, whether it’s on an ARTwalk or a happy hour event. I look forward to hanging out with Rob at events more often :) More Testimonials >> |
