Written By Jeffrey 09/19/2005 click for full size Last night over 50 new/old MEETin members gathered at Rose Park in Georgetown to enjoy homemade ice cream provided by the renowned establishment Thomas Sweet. Flavours included bittersweet (a variant of chocolate), vanilla, strawberry, coffee oreo, and mint chocolate chip. And toppings included pineable, caramel, strawberries, chocolate chip cookies, strawberry syrup, chocolate syrup, regular M&Ms, peanut M&Ms, Reeses Pieces, etc. The atmosphere was relaxed and jovial, the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday night...frisbees being tossed...the setting sun in a beautiful neighbourhood...good friends...new friends...next year will be even better! Great ice cream, and of course - great MIDC peeps... but then, what's new about that? Now... if only I could learn to throw the frisbee STRAIGHT for a change!!
