Heather Link To Event Start slideshow Weekend trip out in the Shenendoah Written By Mitch J. 05/19/2009 click for full size Recipe for the Perfect Meeting Weekend Getaway Prepare the following ingredients in advance: Set your cabin in the mountains amongst rolling hills, lakes, and wildlife Add 1 generous and thoughtful host Add 3 kind friends to help clean the cabin Order enough salmon and ham for 35 people, try not to stress Mix until combined and set aside. The first day of your weekend add: 1 bright and sunny day A rambling walk inside a gorgeous preserve 14 friends from all over the world An afternoon rain storm Plenty of yummy side dishes, including a vat of crack (AKA the best chocolate chip cookies EVER) Plenty of places to sleep A generous portion of laughter Fun games Interesting life stories Friendly debates on what men and women want in a relationship An Eastern bluebird on the window sill who REALLY wants to join your party Add the above ingredients with the mixture you prepared in advance, shake well, and serve immediately. Voila! Thanks to all for a lovely weekend in the mountains. Mitch, you outdid yourself again. Thanks Guys Having those (instead of washing dishes) was a BIG help. Thanks to everybody for all the cooking, cleaning, bringing food, contributing money and taking good care of the place while you were there! You all were very helpful and considerate guests!

Ansalette	Great Time,Great Company As always was a good time and it was fun seeing old faces and meeting new ones. The food spread was to die for and the thunderstorm provided the perfect backdrop (or maybe I'm just a weirdo who likes storms). Anyway, can't wait to the next one..Oh and special thanks to the two ladies who helped clean the cabin beforehand, and to Mitch and his family for letting us muck about in their slice of heaven.
tom	I thought camping was roughing it. Now that I know there's AC I'm going to try harder to make the next one. Last time I went camping I got soaked.
