What happens when you take the heat from a Chili pepper and raise it to the next level? Well…it’s becomes the best cooking event of the year thus far: Chiles II: Bring da’ pain!
This time Jason and I decided to set aside the cookbooks and just cook from the gut. Lucky for us…our guts had good instincts. Our good fortune continued when our guest delivered shrimp, sausage, and other items to challenge our cooking skills. Now the curry cabbage was my favorite, but the grilled chicken was the true star of the event. We created a marinade using wet and dried chilies, and it worked wonders for our palates! The chipotle steak was not to be ignored, and once we got to the bock choy/broccoli stir-fry…we were all in "Hot Hellish Heaven”.
