Yasou! Greek festival Written By Christine 09/29/2008 click for full size The honorary Greeks of meetin were fortunate to arrive before other hoards convened in long lines. The kids had the moonbounce. Since we were not allowed in there, we went for the chow, were able to get our food almost immediately, and enjoyed every crumb of it. The lamb, as usual, was to die for. Spanikopita and other pastries were yummy and flaky. The baklava and cataif were heavenly. And the loukoumades… they need to have that every weekend. After a long joyful, copious lunch I dragged my stuffed belly home, but not before making a stop at the arts and crafts, to buy a cute beret and scarf for fall. Thank you all for joining me! Send me a message if you want information about the Romanian festival this Sunday. More Photos
