What I thought would be a small gathering grew and grew and grew until we basically took over not one bar, but two! We started at Mezza Luna for happy hour specials. We ate, we drank, we mingled, we drank some more. I saw lots of mozzarella sticks – I think that was the snack of the night. When happy hour ended we didn’t! We rallied and took 10 steps (ok, maybe it WAS 11) over to Science Club where they let us have some tables upstairs. A few elected to stay outside enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather. It was a really nice night. But you know what made it a really nice night? The crowd. That was one of my favorite happy hours of all times. It was a fabulous evening. It was great to see so many new members – nice to meet you all and WELCOME TO MEETIN! And there were lots of people I hadn’t seen in quite a long time. Plus we got to welcome Steph back into town. So, thank you all for coming out and making the evening so enjoyable. I thought it would be a small casual happy hour and instead I wound up having a blast. Don’t be surprised if I pop another one of these on to the calendar some time soon. I didn’t get pictures of everyone, but I tried! Thanks again to everyone who made it Mezza Luna and/or Science Club. And thanks to Monica for being a fabulous cohostess. You rock! More Photos
