MiD's girliest(and manliest!) came out in full force. Too many cute outfits and hot shoes kept us all buzzing while we got in line early to make sure we had great seats. Once in the theater we settled in, all hopped up on candy and soda, ready to learn what happened to our favorite characters. Some had seen every episode(guilty!). Some had seen only a few but I didn't hear anything but raves when it was all over. Tara and I were the closest in the unofficial pool ticking off how many times Steph cried during the film. Tara went with 22 and I had 18...we ended up at 20. One long cry counted the same as teary-eyed so this was harder to track...especially in the dark. Since "5" was the most popular number chosen, note that she got to 5 before the opening credits were all done. Yes, previews count! ; )) Special kudos to Derek for braving this group ON HIS OWN. He is smart AND brave. Throughout the super girly movie, I kept thinking that this must be torture for him. At least his consolation prize was magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Steph for all her cohosting help and for being such a great sport and thanks to EVERYONE for coming out. I had such a great time and met many new friends. AmyC	Don't make me slap you, Derek Cut out the clothes segments???????? AS IF! I was sad it only last 2 1/2 hours. Wish there could have been some extra shoe montages, too. And handbags. And general girly fun. Or crying.
Derek	My Reviews Fans: You will love this movie, as it was targeted just for you. Seemed to present a good story and good wrap-up. Non-fans: You will enjoy it, as is enough vanilla comedy to make it fun. Guys: This is definitely a chick-flick, far more so than your standard chick-flicks. The 2 hours 25 minutes could be chopped down to about 1 hour if you exclude the dress montage, fashion show, closet analyzing, and about 24 scenes of screaming and hugging. (The sex scenes can stay.)
Derek	I guess it's my lot in life to be surrounded by beautiful women. No, I did not cry. I've only seen about 3 episodes and therefore didn't have a connection with the characters. If I did...well....OK, I probably wouldn't have cried then either. :)
Tara	Awesome! Thanks to Amy and Steph for hosting this fabulous event! I had a blast and loved the movie. I'm thinking I may have to go see it again!
