Event Hosted By Kavitha Start slideshow Cinco de Mayo Party Written By Kavitha 05/07/2008 click for full size Thanks to everyone who came out to the Cinco de Mayo Party. As always, the food was awesome as we have so many great MEETin chefs...there were great Mexican dishes as well as desserts. To my surprise, there were requests to dance in the KLounge after dinner, which I was not prepared for. We had slight lighting issues as I couldn't find the strobe light (it was on top of the book case the whole time!), but everyone seemed happy enough once I found some decent lighting for them. As people usually don't dance at my parties unless I forcefully chain them to the basement, I was pleasantly surprised. And if that was not shocking enough, instead of playing the usual game of Taboo after the dancing was over, everyone played Cranium instead. I am not sure if I made the margarita punch too strong or what, but it was a different type of evening then normal at one of my parties :-) Thanks again for coming out and I hope you had as much fun as I did!
