Written By Rob 10/18/2007 click for full size Thanks to the 25 or so new members that came out to last Wednesday's new member happy hour at the Eleventh Street Lounge in Clarendon. Joel (my trusty co-cost), several other members of the MeetinDC welcome wagon (Yusef, Liz, Romel, Carmel, Stefanie), and myself had an great time meeting all the new members and telling them about the ups, downs, ins, outs, sideways, and more about the awesome organization that is MeetinDC. For that night, Eleventh Street Lounge was a MeetinDC bar. I had on my Limited Edition super-cool MeetinDC Polo Shirt and some super classy designer MeetinDC signs and with all the new members, we took over the entire bar. We had lots of good, fun conversation, great cheap burgers (way better than Five Guys) lots of Belgian beers, martinis, and a great relaxed location. Everyone had an awesome time as another class of new members has been welcomed into the group. To those of you who couldn't make it to this new member event, we'll be having another one soon.
