The finale for this years Screen on the Green was amazing, with over 45 of “twice the usual number of suspects” showing up and scrabbling for a piece of the area on the mall. Despite fighting like Free French Freedom Fighters, we still managed a decent area right up by the screen (but not too close). Yet we managed to have lots of fun, lots of food, and spread good cheer with fermented grape juice (with more fruit added in). We aren’t sure if it was from France, though we did have French cheeses. Either way there were many people jammed on the mall yet we managed to make many new friends including Doris, Stefanie, Matt & Kylene (Well new to me at least!)
As always I am honored by all the people who came out, enjoyed the movie and hopefully made new friends or just caught up with old ones. Once again Thank you all for making this yet another great Screen on the Green series! Jan Louis More Photos

to america! Thanks JL again for hosting! I only made it to the first and last movies of sotg 07 but enjoyed both and Casablanca was a great one to end on and so many classic lines. Looking forward to next year. |

Finally made it! I finally made it to an SOTG and it just happens to be the best movie of the season! Thank you so much for organizing these events, JLo. You made the space very homey and certainly go above and beyond a normal host duties by bringing all the blankets, umbrellas, food and "Jesus Juice." |

Jan Louis, we are so, so fortunate to have you running these events. You stake out all that space in the hot sun, you make us feel so welcome whether we properly updated our RSVP or not, you give us inspiration to get outside the house on a Monday night and see movies we might not have seen otherwise.
