Unfortunately I'll be out of town that weekend and can't make it. But, as promised, the discount code I received is 'VIP2'. That will let you buy tickets for 24.99 online. I have printed coupons if anyone wants to wait and buy theirs at the park. I'll try to get a few to Rob.

Thanks Ken! Looks like this will be a great combined DC/Balt event! I posted the balt event for 3pm to avoid game traffic. Also, if anyone has coupons, please indicate so in your RSVPs.

UPDATE:
I've changed the date to 10/18/2009 so that this can be a DC and Balt event.
Good point about traffic on Game day. I don't pay much attention to Redskins (I doubt they'll make 7-7 this season), so I probably wouldn't have thought of that. I'm willing to push the time back if more people can make it.

Since it's a 1 PM game, 2-2:30 might not be a bad time to meet either. Most of the crowd going should be at the game by then and they probably won't start leaving until 3 or hopefully 3:30 so there's a little bit more of a window there.
I'm sure you probably had this figured out already, but I'd suggest taking I-97 to 50 to US 301 South coming down from B'more, that should help you avoid some of the game day traffic. The 301 to 214 part is a few miles out of the way but it's easier because if you take 50 to 95 you'll be in stadium traffic on 95 to 214. Probably still will hit some on 214 via 301 but it hopefully won't be as bad.

Good point. But I'd be willing to deal with traffic in order to have it on a day that more peeps can do. If we have to, we can move it to 4:00 meet time or some peeps can join us later.

Actually, October 18 is semi-bad too. The Redskins game that day is at FedEx Field-Six Flags is not too far from the stadium so traffic is going to be nightmarish all day (remember that DC sports crowds are, by nature, notoriously late-arriving).

Just realized Sat Oct 17 seems to be a bad day for lots of peeps. I have posted for Sunday Oct 18 on the Balt board. It would be great if you guys could move yours to Sunday and we can have a combined event.

One of the admin members of meetin DC has to approve the events. However, you don't need approval depending on your membership status. (if you are a member plus or an event planner, etc.)

FrightFest in the works
I hope I got this right. I just submitted my FrightFest event for approval. It's currently scheduled for Oct 17. If this gets approved, hope many will come.
BTW, who needs to approve this event? Also, does this happen for all events?

Markoff's Haunted Forest up in Dickeson, MD. MiDC went there several times and it's an absolute hoot.. nay, it's a scream. ;-)
