Event Details First Friday and the art galleries' open house is back too! I also usually bring a few guests from Hosteling International with me as well (As some of you know I've brought a few of them with me to Bravo Bravo in the past), so as an added bonus you may get to meet a few visitors from overseas! We will be meeting at the Foundry Gallery (in the address line). The south exit from DuPont Circle is your nearest Metro exit... It's the beginning of the month. Time for another art walk! The first Friday of each month local galleries open their doors to all comers, some even serve wine, soda and nibbles. Come out and join us for your art fix, along with good converations Our starting point is the Foundry Gallery at 5:45 PM (the openings run from 6:00 - 8:00). For those of you who may be late, I really don't use a set itinerary, as I've found that not all galleries participate each month. For that matter, this being a really free form tour there is not set time to arrive at other galleries. We stay as long as we want at each and move on to the next. From my past experience we're usually at our last gallery right around the 8:00 mark. After The Foundry we make our way up toward where most of the galleries are clustered around 21st & R. And if you're running late I'll be providing my cell number in an email update so that you can catch up with us.
