Why I joined
I've been in Cologne for a month and a half now, and I'll be here for another year. I've met a few people, but not too many, and I'd love to create a network of friends, both English- and German-speaking, to enjoy my year in Europe with. |
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event )
I joined MEETin less than a week ago (the 5th of December, 2008), and I was pretty disappointed to realize that the Cologne MEETin group really doesn't seem too active. However, I also discovered that the Amsterdam group - who are VERY active - were heading into Cologne to check out the Christmas markets, and, only one day after I officially joined the site, I was able to get together with about five or six people from that group last Saturday. It was really fun, and I'm so glad I got to meet them all. The next time I'm in Amsterdam, you can be sure I have a few people I'll want to look up!
