Goodbye Solo - Viewed 1667 Times
I had two hours to kill and chose this one at random not knowing a single thing beforehand. Eh... about as far from a Hollywood movie as you can get which is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a story about an immigrant taxi driver in NC befriending an elderly rider. An interesting character study but a tad depressing since the old man hires the driver to take him to his suicide attempt. And the movie leaves way more questions than answers. There's good character development but we know next to nothing about their motivation, i.e., why? I guess some things in life we'll never know.
