Kathy is awesome! I hung out with her all weekend while visiting Chicago for the Lollapalooza fest. She'll make you laugh, tease you a bit, but all in good fun. Thanks again for keeping me company, keeping me cool (spraying me with the water bottle), thinking of ideas like getting soaked by the fountain, etc... Definitely let me know if you ever come through New York City.  <-( John says ;-)
Ha ha! Kathy's like the big sister I've never had! She's fun to hang out with, and likes to remedy things that she sees fit. Like bringing me up to speed on the pop culture of yesteryears! Spend some time with her, get to know her, and you can see why she's a natural leader befitting MiC. Glad she lives here, not anywhere else! =P Oh, and be careful... She's quite humble sometimes, and downplays her abilities; but after enough poking and digging, you'll find that she *has* done a half-marathon before!  <-( Evan says ;-)
It has taken me a few weeks to finally have something to say about Kathy. Not because I haven't wanted to, more because this girl is a social moth (moths fly faster and more erratic than butterflies). I thought I was a social, outgoing, friendly person... until I met Kathy. Compared to her, I am a shut-in. Kathy, I love you, and having you in Chicago as leader of this group is a true asset!  <-( Kelly says ;-)
Kathy is phenomenal. You have to keep your eye on her when you go out because she is always on the prowl for new people to talk to. She has an amazing ability to start (and hold) conversations with people regardless of what they were doing when she interrupted them. Something about her electric smile and blonde hair inspires people to buy drinks for her all the time, and sometimes for her friends, too! ;-) Kathy is one of the most open and friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and being friends with.  <-( TracEy says ;-)
Its easy to see why MeetinChicago is so successful. KATHY. Kathy can party with the best of them, and with her mischevious grin and her feminine wiles, can she ever work a room! When are you coming to PHOENIX!!!!!??!?!?!?  <-( Alin says ;-)
Kathy is my girl! This women knows how to make you feel like you've known her for years after your first 5 minutes with her. Having the most beautiful smile in the room does not hurt either! :) She's also good for some interesting conversation around the Thanksgiving Day dinner table! ;)  <-( Sibel says ;-)
I bet Kathy smiles when she is sleeping. Even if she doesn't mean to be, I suspect she can't even help but smile. I didn't get to talk to Kathy that much over the Convention but I appreciated her presence, nonetheless. Some people have auras that truly radiate and Kathy's is so strong and positive that it's impossible to miss -- that is, not notice -- for we in DC will surely miss it until she returns!  <-( Sandi says ;-)
Kathy really does make a great leader! She is so friendly and helpful! She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcomed and included at the events (even us shy people)! She always willing to try new things and be a part of everything, even if it means signing up for the wrong event! :)  <-( Carl says ;-)
How does she do it? I 1st met Kathy as part of the obligatory welcome-wagon and a new member HH, and of course she was all smiley and nice. Well after they, she turned into super-helpful and fun. Kathy never hesitated to answer all my "stupid" questions about the group, or how things worked on the site. When I posted my first event, she helped out a ton w/ that as well. I've also had the chance to attend a few events w/ her and she's a blast. I also see how she is w/ other people too... Same thing... outstanding personality... So how does she do it? Kathy is great! She is so warm and welcoming, and just fun to be around. I have only been to one event with her, but I look forward to getting to know her better at some other events.  <-( Sue says ;-)
Kathy Rocks! The Italian Orchestra was a great eclectic evening. This was my first event and I can't wait to meet more people soon. Kathy made me feel extremly welcome!  <-( Kristen says ;-)
Kathy is the best leader ever! (hehe) Seriously, it is great that she has stepped up to take on this leadership role as MiC will benefit greatly from it. She's got spunk and a great personality and there isn't a person who wouldn't agree. You can count on her to make you feel welcome if you are new and you can count on her to keep you interested and involved in your are veteran!  <-( Vanessa says ;-)
Kathy is so awesome! She is so upbeat and everyone has a great time in her company. There's no way she'll allow you to have a bad time and you can't stay in your shell for long (though she says I have no shell). She is so outgoing which makes her a great leader!  <-( Cari says ;-)
I'm sure there is nothing new I could say about Kathy that anyone who spends 1 minute in her company wouldn't figure out. She is a wonderful person and a great leader. MeetIn is very lucky to have her. Her bubbly personality puts everyone is a good mood.  <-( Heidi says ;-)
Kathy is absolutely the perfect leader for our Meetin! Her positivity & genuine kindness are amazing. I personally feel indebted to her for her support and her understanding even when an event 'burns' & 'crashes'. I can't thank you enough for all of your help! Well, first of all, Kathy is a great person to hang out with, laugh with, and...yes...even talk about "life, the universe and everything" with. I think it was more than just the booze that ended up with us spilling the beans about our lives to each other at the Superbowl party, as we continued to be buddies even after we found out about the skeletons in our closets! Anyway, 10 out of 10 to Kathy for noticing the "caring and laid back" side of me...some people would be surprised to hear this about me...so my respect for Kathy's intelligence and outstanding perceptive abilities had doubled! Look forward to hanging out with you more.  <-( Liz says ;-)
I don't know why it's taken me so long to write one of these for Kathy, but I'll rectify that oversight now. From my first event, Kathy has been warm and welcoming and a lot of fun to hang out with! She has a great sense of humor and really goes out of her way to make a person feel comfortable in the group. I look forward to hanging out with her at more events in the future!  <-( mIKEY says ;-)
Kathy is a fun gal with a warm heart who know how to have fun and bring others into the fun. She is the type of person that makes you feel at home and welcome. People like her are why this group is so great. So glad she is part of all of this. You ROCK girl ;-)  <-( Scott says ;-)
Cathy is an awesome person!!!!!! Weve hung out now a few times a couple times that she actually remembers.LOL. I will definately say that it is a privilliage to know her!  <-( Cliff says ;-)
Simply put, Kathy rocks. I've probably done more things with her then anyone else. She's just fun and ALWAYS has that smile on her face that is totally contageous!
