I just realized I've never written this good lady a testimonial! This shall now be changed, forthwith! Chris is one hell of an amazing person! She manages to balance free-spiritedness and fun with kindness and cheer. She has a wonderful sense of humor and a wily wit :-) She is always an absolute blast to hang out with, and wonderful to talk to! I am so glad to know this good lady and proud to call her friend! Chris is one of those people who I've seen and had small-talk with at many events, but never really got to know her. Well.... at the last 2 events that I've bumped into her, I got the chance to talk to her a lot more. Chris is great... A down-to-earth, peppy, just plain fun person to be around. She's also very compassionate and generous... Not a bad person to keep around! I look forward to hangin' out w/ her at future events!  <-( John says ;-)
Chris is one of the reasons why I like MiC so much. I remember going to my first event, which she hosted. Very friendly and helpful in all manners, like when I was stuck somewhere on a CTA vehicle, or when I was lost getting to an event. You meet her, you see what she contributes to MiC, and you wonder how she's able to keep it all together without being high-strung and tearing at the seams. She's great!  <-( Amy says ;-)
Chris: a fellow runner. Chris is a nice chick, who is so thoughtful and caring. I like that we run races together, it's like our little sporty-meetin-family. We encourage each other to spend more time enjoying our wonderful city. I am glad to have met Chris, she is an awesome person!  <-( Mark says ;-)
Honestly, I don't know how she does it. Works at least six days a week, has other non Meetin commitments and still finds time to socialize, work out and attend various events. She is very nice, takes time to listen and is funny too. I guess we are lucky to have her!  <-( Kathy says ;-)
I just love Chris! She seems to be this nice, normal person when you first meet her but look out! She has this underlying determination and more internal strength than I think even she realizes. I'm glad we were able to bond in the stairwells of Chicago during Hustle up the Hancock training. Now, that's quality time! ;-)  <-( Rachel says ;-)
Chris is an asset to MEETin because she embodies everything the group is about. She doesn't play politics or get involved in cliques. She's very welcoming toward everyone and attends all kinds of events. I'll miss my carpool buddy when I move.  <-( Scott says ;-)

Chris is a warm, generous and very big hearted person. Many thanks Chris, for hosting the "Holiday Orphans" Thanksgiving dinner, that was a wonderful gesture! She also has boundless energy and is always up to doing something active and fun.  <-( Tim K. says ;-)
Chris is such a nice person. She's a great listener and fun to be around. What more can I say? I had a great time at every event that I've been at with her. She cultured but also enjoys plenty of outdoor activities like hiking....which is great because I enjoy them too. I can't wait for the many more opportunities to hang out!  <-( Katie says ;-)
Chris is a nice, innocent girl until you get her drinking! ;-) Actually, she's great b/c she likes to do all kinds of outdoor events and finds great new places to hike.  <-( Vanessa says ;-)
Chris is a lot of fun, very funny and likes to help others with their sleeping bags. While I met her at Transit, I don't remember much so girls night was a better opportunity to hang out with her. Very outgoing, and seems that if she's in the right environment, she might be a little wild, no?  <-( Aarthi says ;-)
Just want to say... Yes Justin, she does turn purple when she drinks.  <-( Justin says ;-)
Chris, so glad I've met you throught MiC since we always manage to have fun at these events. Even if an event is boring (which it almost never is...), you're fun to talk to and just hang out with. Do you really turn purple when you drink?  <-( Matt says ;-)
Does this girl live in the burbs or the city? Sometimes it's hard to tell. I still amazes me how you can become such good friends with someone in a short amount of time. Chris always comes out ready to go and is always the first one to offer a ride to those of us without cars. I'll miss those rides to my 'hood now that I'm downtown. Thanks for being such a great friend Chris. And thanks for putting up with me!  <-( Devorah says ;-)
LATE ride - Chris hosted this ride and she was great. I would never have seen Chicago by the light of the howling moon without her hosting this event. <-( Aarthi says ;-)
Chris is the nicest person I have ever met - no exaggeration. When you meet Chris, it is impossible not to like her. She's always smiling, she's always positive, and she's always full of energy. And she's such a mom! Always telling me what do to do and not to do! And always trying to keep me out of trouble. And always there to listen. It doesn't matter what she's doing - she always has time for me. (and believe me, this is one BUSY girl! She never stops) She's one the greatest friends a person could ask for. Just don't let her drink too much - she turns funny colors and can't walk straight. (just kidding) Chris, I am really glad I met you. And remember, i'm always here for you too. More Testimonials >> |
