About Me
Raised in a small coastal town in Maine and a former resident of Somerville, MA, a series of events brought me to the fair city of Chicago back in 2001. Chicago is growing on me. It's actually been growing on me a lot more since I joined this group. |
Why I joined
I've been in Chicago for a few years but with a number of friends settling down or moving out to the burbs or out of Chicago completely I decided I needed to do something so I don't become a shut in. I gave this group and shot and it's worked out quite nicely. |
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event )
The camping trip stands out quite a bit, as does the monthly trip to see Too Much Light, but my favorites are the events where you start out doing one thing and then hours later after the original event is over, you are still hanging out with the same people, usually at some bar or late night eatery and enjoying their fine company.
