Fall Apple Picking & More (Part 2) Written By Emily 10/26/2009 click for full size
I believe that this was one of the longest events….ever. We met at 10:30am (unless you are operating on Bof Standard Time…11am) and headed out to the Homestead Orchard. This is a quaint little orchard, so, not as much of a challenge (read: done quickly) finding apples as when Karen & I did this last year (climbing trees). The rest of the day included a stop at Diary Mart (tator tots, burgers, etc) and then on to the local bowling lanes where Jim showed us all how it’s really done! ☺. A nice sized group of us (we lost a few people) met up for dinner & then headed over to the bar down the block (where we picked up more people) for some $2 PBRs. All in all, a jam packed day of fall fun :-)
