Thursday Night @ The Art Institute Written By Carl 04/18/2008 click for full size
In theme w/ the "artiness" of the Art Institute, we shot most of the pics on B/W. This was a 2-part event. First we met up and listened to a lecture on 3 independent women from the early 1900's who had strong visions and will (not to mention a lot of money) and designed homes that clearly went against the grain of "norms" for that time period. We saw pictures and got back-story on some amazing architecture.
We then took off for a little look around the rest of the museum, of course stopping by the painting showcased in Ferris Bueller's Day off :) Afterwards, the group headed up to Elephant and Castle for the usual Post-Event Food and Drink. More Photos
