Event Details Screw Christmas returns since it initially "debuted" in 2007. This year, I am planning to add a "cocktail reception" at my place in Edgewater earlier in the evening before heading out to the bars. As my place is small, I will appreciate any potential guests letting me know if they plan to come to my place or joining us later. The event will start at my place around 6:30 PM- address will be emailed to potential guests. Please be sure to read the "House Rules" at the bottom of this post. All guests will be expected to understand and abide by these rules. Once the alcohol has been exhausted or my place gets too crowded, we will head out to some Edgewater/Andersonville bars. First stop: Ollie's Lounge-1064 W. Berwyn (steps away from Berwyn Red Line Station) Last stop: Cafe Bong- 5706 N. Clark St. (near Clark & Hollywood- has most hilarious karaoke machine ever) Other potential stops in between: Simon's Tavern- 5210 N. Clark St. Farragut's- 5240 N. Clark St. Konak- 5150 N. Clark St. I am open to any other suggestions as well. This is meant to be a free-flowing, unscheduled evening. If you do not intend to join us for the cocktail reception, please call me to find out where we are. My cell number will be emailed to guests as well as the address of my apartment. HOUSE RULES FOR LAURA'S ROACH RANCH 1. Any disrespectful behavior to other guests, their property, or my property will NOT be tolerated. Also, if you are a guest and witness any of this type of behavior, please let me know so I can take care of it. I don't want to find out later that someone was acting like a jerk and ruining a good time. 2. Do not leave the front building door open. This is for our safety and our neighbors' safety. If you want to go sit outside and you need back in, ring the buzzer. 3. No smoking inside the apartment. You can go outside to smoke. 4. As this event is to be held in my home, I have final approval over any and all potential guests PERIOD. I also reserve the right to evict anyone at my discretion.
