Event DetailsI'm hosting a celebration in honor of Chicago's losing bid for the Olympics. As I'm sure you've heard the 2016 Olympics will be instead held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the famous home of Carnaval and scary drug dealers. I have located an appropriate bar (Ñ Bar) that serves Brazilian and Latin American food and drinks, most importantly caipirinhas (great strong Brazilian cocktail solely consisting of cachaça rum, muddled limes, and sugar). This bar also serves food, so don't worry about getting too drunk out where there's no el nearby. The bar is located on Elston near Wellington & Western. Unfortunately, there aren't any train stations nearby. However, the Western Avenue bus runs 24/7. If you can, please wear your mardi gras beads/feather boas/Carnaval swag- preferably in Brazilian colors (green, blue, and yellow/gold) or "No Games Chicago" items to make the atmosphere more festive.
