Event Hosted By Laurent Link To Event Start slideshow Authentic mexican at Tu Y Yo Written By Laurent 05/17/2008 click for full size We were 6 last Wednesday to enjoy not-your-average Mexican food at "Tu Y Yo", a restaurant close to Davis Sq: Dorothy, Lynn, Eddie, Annemarie, Timmi (for whom it was her first event) and truly yours. As predicted, the food was everything but what you see at a regular "Mexican" restaurant: some appetizers had cactus, and several of their meal contain cuitlacoche which is a black mold that develops on corn. A huge disappointment though: THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY GRASSHOPPER! Annemarie and I wanted to share an appetizer with grasshopper (they have a couple) but they were out of stock :-( But overall it was great fun, especially as everyone shared a bit of their meals with each other.
