Event DetailsYES, PLEASE DRESS UP! We won't feel as strange wandering around dressed as pirates if you are, too. :-) Meeps will be traveling in from both Pittsburgh and D.C. for the Pub Crawl, so come on out and join us! Everyone is welcome, dressed as a pirate or not! Due to the crowds, it may be difficult to stay together. Cell phones are essential! Also, last year, it was nearly impossible to order food (again, due to crowds), so I recommend grabbing an early dinner someplace else. We can meet in front of Max's, look at our maps, and plan out a strategy for attacking the various pubs over the course of the night. Here are the pub specials: Todd Conner's - 700 S. Broadway $5 Dark & Stormys, $1.50 PBR drafts, $5 wings Kooper's/Slainte - 1702 Thames Street $5 Caribbean Rum Punch with Pirate's Choice Rum Woody's Rum Bar - 821 South Broadway $5 Caribbean Rum Punch with Pirate's Choice Rum Riptide - 1718 Thames Street $2.50 drafts, Pirate rum cocktails, Craft beer tastings, Mariner Art display Shuckers - 1629 Thames Street $4 Pirates Choice Rum drinks, $4 Pirates Gold (Goldschlager shots) $2 Coors draft Duda's Tavern - 1600 Thames Street 1/2 priced appetizers Fletchers - 701 S. From 11 a.m.-7 p.m., visitors of all ages will be able to tour area attractions, meet characters in costume from around the time of the War of 1812, and enjoy activities like pirate-story telling, boatmaking, knot tying, bead making and loot-bag decorating. There will be vendors and live, period music. There will be a cannon demonstration as well as the ability to view and in many cases, board ships docked along the waterfront. Visitors to the event “are encouraged to dress as a privateer, pirate, sail-maker, sailor, barkeep, wench, merchant or homemaker whoever they think they would have been 200 years ago.” ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. $3 in advance until April 16th, $5 day of. Save yourself some Buccs (get it?) and register now! Buttons will not be mailed, you can pick them up at will call at the Fells Point Main Street booth from 10am to 8pm on Saturday. ATTENTION: NO WEAPONS ALLOWED! Leave the fake swords and pistols at home, please! You do not need a gmail account to register online, any valid email account will do.
