Grew up in Beaumont. Attended A&M for my undergrad and first masters. Came to UT for another masters and settled here about 20 years ago. |
Why I joined
Just moved back to Austin after two years out of the country. Previously, lived here for a long time. I met lots of people in grad school here, but you know how folks move away or their social life can end up revolving around their kids. So I wanted to meet some new friends to hang out with sometimes and meetin was one way to do some social things with a new group. |
My Best MEETin event story ( please only fill in after you have been to an event )
Halloween party was interesting. Lot's of great costumes and I met lots of people. Of course, I'll never recognize them again since they won't be dressed the same the next time I meet them. I might remember names. not sure.

Bill is an all around great guy, and I'm so glad he joined! I like to think this was my idea, but it was probably because of everyone he's met at the last few parties I've missed:( Either way, I'm glad he's part of the group. Maybe I'll get to see him around more now:)
