Halloween Party Donations
To help offset some of the expense of the DJ, alcohol, food, etc I had asked if people would be willing to chip in money for our upcoming Halloween party. In exchange of donations/cover I'd go ahead and pick up a keg, additional booze, all the food, etc instead of doing a byob like my other parties have been. The responses I got said that was a great idea and everyone was willing to help out.
Soooo...since I know day of will get hectic I am going to offer up donating via paypal or in person ahead of time so that we know how much we have to work with or whether we'll have to just scrap the idea and go back to BYOB.
I have broken down the numbers based on our other parties and last Halloween and am asking if everyone can donate a minimum $10/pp which is about the price of bringing a case of beer anyway. More would be fab (the more we get the more booze I can buy!!) or if you can't afford $10 anything you an donate will help. We will also have a jar at the party for those of you that don't know if you'll show until the last minute or have guests that want to chip in.
Also.. my understanding is as long as it's a personal payment/gift then we won't have to pay a fee and as long as you don't use a credit card to do it (so please don't use a regular credit card). (I don't ever use paypal sooo if anyone knows otherwise let me know) And obviously if you see Dan M or me out and want to chip in via cash we'll gladly take it.

Just a few more days!!
I scored some $25 & $10 gift cards to give away as prizes!! Some for costume contests & some for the peeps who've donated the most!! Please get us your contributions ASAP if you can to help with last minute costs. Otherwise we'll have a jar there for folks to contribute. We are now donating any left over money to charity sooo please help out!!!

Charity
A friend was able to secure us some goodies from Specs to help out with the party. In exchange we will be donating to the Any Baby Can charity. But we still need everyone's help with party costs and chipping in for our charity donation.

We plan to be at the Oct HH this Fri & also at Chris' housewarming on Sat. If you haven't had a chance to donate yet and would like to do so in person rather than paypal please catch me at one of those 2 events. I'll be doing a lot of shopping this weekend.

I would try for a Werewolf or Vampire but then I won't be able to afford a costume and then I'll need to show up naked. And believe me, that would be too scary even for Halloween. :-P

Just wanted to send out a thanks to those have had a chance to donate so far....For fun we've come up with levels of "sponsorship":
Ghost $10
Zombie $10 to $20
Werewolf $20 to $50
Vampire..$50 & up
