Trivia: Life Cereal & Mikey
Do you remember the commercial for Life Cereal, starring Mikey?
Kid1: "What's this stuff?"
Kid2: "I don't know, some cereal . . ."
Can you finish the conversation?
The last line is: "Hey Mikey, he likes it!"

Okay, Goes Like This . . .
Everyone is really close! There were actually 2 versions of the commercial; they started running the short one well after they first started the commercial. But the long version goes like this . . .
3 brothers, at the kitchen table at breakfast time. The littlest kid is Mikey, who is a finnicky eater - and has no lines.
kid1: What's this stuff?
kid2: Some cereal, spos't to be good for ya.
kid1: You gonna try it?
kid2: I'm not gonna try it, you try it.
kid1: Hey, let's get Mikey!
kid2: Yeah. He won't eat it, he hates everything.
(they watch Mikey try it and he keeps eating it)
kid?: Hey Mikey! He likes it!
Thanks for playing!

Hey Mikey! He Likes It!
Doesn't Anyone, besides Ann and myself, remember Mikey of Life Cereal fame? It was an award-winning TV commercial that ran for 15 years, starting in 1972, starring 3 brothers sitting around the breakfast table.
I messed up the beginning of the conversation in my first posting. It actually starts off like this:
kid1: what's this stuff?
kid2: some cereal, sppos't ta be good for ya.
Anyone remember the rest?
